Chinese -- calligraphy, sume-i
As much as I love Chinese calligraphy on rice paper, such as "The Four Seasons," I have been exploring how to express certain Chinese characters on watercolor paper, incorporating abstract brushwork. Other times, i like to render some Chinese sume-i style on watercolor.
